Major At College:
In what ways are you still involved in Fine Arts (music, drama, art)?
I sing in Azusa Pacific University’s Men’s Chorale (Tenor 1), and DRIVEN A Capella Group (Tenor 1, 2).
What does being involved in the Fine Arts do for your life, body, mind, or spirit?
Being involved in Fine Arts gives me the opportunity to learn something new everyday. It is such a great gift that God has given me to have a passion for the arts because it has had such a huge impact on my life. Being a part of two ministry ensembles, God has shown me how live a life after His own heart, grow in my relationship, and to lead unbelievers to Him.
A word of advice to SCA students who might be considering participating in the arts while they are majoring in another field:
Just GO FOR IT! Never, ever doubt yourself because God has amazing plans for all of us. Being involved in the arts is a great experience to have whilst learning other things. In addition, it will teach out a lot of things. If you ever have the slightest feeling to go to that audition, take that class, or have that experience, then just do it! It will be the best thing you’ll do.
