Steps in SCA Admission Process

  • Step One

    Tour the Campus

    We invite all prospective families to tour the campus and meet with a member of our Admissions team. This is a time to ask questions and for us to begin to get to know you.
  • Step Two

    Complete Online Application

    By clicking on the link above you will begin to the process of applying to Scottsdale Christian Academy. This will be the largest portion of the application, and we will ask for things regarding past schools, your written Christian testimony, where you attend a Bible believing church, etc.
  • Step Three

    Document and Reference Collection

    Once we have the online application our admission team will touch base and let you know that we will need 3 years of past report cards, 3 years of standardized testing scores, teacher references, church references, and a few other things. We will walk you step by step through.
  • Step Four

    Admission Committee Review

    After submitting all required documentation the application will be reviewed by the school’s Admissions Committee.  If the application is deemed a good mission fit for both the school and prospective family, the next step will be a family interview with the principal.
  • Step Five

    Principal Interview

    Following the completion of all of your online application and turning in all of your supporting documents your application will be reviewed and be sent to the school level principal for review.
  • Step Six

    Admissions Decision

    Following the interview with the school level principal you will be notified of the admissions decision in writing.

Admissions Details

Scottsdale Christian is a covenant Christian school.  During the application process we  ask parents and students to share about their Christian testimony and their walk with Jesus Christ. We require a reference form from a Bible believing church that is regularly attended.
We are looking to admit students who score in the top 50% in academic testing, and who are in good academic and behavioral standing with their current school.
