At SCA, the Fine Arts programs strive to develop the creative aspect and gifting of every student.   It is the desire of Fine Arts department to reflect the creativity of God, with the goal of making the name of Christ known through all the various mediums.  This full array of top-notch fine arts programming sets SCA apart from most options in the Valley of the Sun.



Fine Arts in Action!!!

Congratulations to our four students for making the state Honor Choir – Cantaremos – as judged by the AZ Choral Director’s Association: Megan Bechert (7th), Chelsea Drye (7th), Robin Gibbs (8th), and Joanna Llusco (6th) were all accepted through a competitive audition process. Compliments to these four accomplished musicians!

Congratulations to our High School Band who returned from California, where they received an Excellent Rating for their performance in the Heritage Festival music competition in Anaheim. World Strides Onstage presented them with a commemorative plaque for their “Silver” rating, where their performance received many accolades from the judges. Congratulations to our SCA Wind Ensemble members: Caleb Brown, Michael Buss, Joey Chiaramonte, Kathryn Dick, Nick Frederick, Kayla Kenders, Zeke Randall, Autumn Roberts, Grace Waggoner, and Gabe Waggoner who represented our school so well and brought home the silver!

World Class Fine Arts Program

Led by Leigh Anne Kreykes, as Fine Arts Director, our high school program allows our students to pursue their dreams in Fine Arts. Our Fine Arts program engages students through band, choir, theater, visual arts, graphic design, photography, and broadcasting. This world-class program produces students who have gone on to careers in performance and other arts-related careers.
